Are You Invisible?
I have lived most of my life invisible and asleep! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
YEP- INVISIBLE & ASLEEP.
Invisible to the truth of me. Asleep to my dreams, my passions, my desires, my voice, and my life! I did what I was told and made sure to please everyone (except myself –because that would be selfish)! And in my sloth, I never question anything. I put a smile on my face and began my journey of proving my worth.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Now, here I am 50 years old, and opening my eyes maybe for the very first time. And it would be easy to dive into a shame pit and wallow for a while, but shame can go to hell! You see shame and fear have kept me STUCK, SELF-DOUBTING, SILENT, AND SLEEPING for far too long.
And I am done!
I am no longer willing to stay asleep and invisible to make sure others like me. The crazy intoxicating need for people’s approval has cost me greatly and I can no longer sleepwalk through my life entrapped in the fear of what others think of me. Nor can I stay silent to my own needs because - “others needs are more valuable than my own”.
IT IS TIME TO WAKE UP. SEE ME. ACCEPT HER. EMBRACE HER. AND LOVE HER – ALL OF HER.
I have been given the gift of life. I am full of dreams, passion, purpose, and power. So, I choose to be in the present. I choose to be – PRESENT IN MY LIFE. Today! Right here! Right now, I choose to WAKE UP AND LIVE VISIBLE - - - -
Allowing my heart to beat again,
Permitting my dreams to live again,
Unlocking my heart to feel again,
Opening myself to trust again,
Nurturing my hardness to soften again,
Releasing my shame to shine again,
Empowering my courage to rise again,
Exchanging my doubt to dare again,
Igniting my passions to blaze again,
Trusting myself to love again,
Unbinding my programs to think for myself again,
Awakening myself to me ….
Unmasking myself to live visible ---- maybe for the first time ever!
